Recovering from a C-section means protecting a healing incision while your core rebuilds. The Mumbi Postpartum Belly Band gives gentle, even compression that supports the abdomen and lower back, takes the strain off the incision area as you move, and helps you feel more stable getting up, feeding and caring for your baby.
How it supports C-section recovery
- Gentle compression supports the abdominal muscles and may help reduce swelling.
- Takes pressure off the incision area during everyday movement.
- Supports the lower back and posture during feeding and lifting.
- Soft, breathable fabric sits comfortably over a sensitive scar.
A note on safety
Always check with your doctor or midwife before wearing a belly band after a C-section, and on when to start. Wear it snug, never tight enough to press painfully on the incision. Stop and seek advice if you notice increased pain, redness or irritation.
Choosing your size
Choose by waist — S 70–85 cm, M 85–100 cm, L 100–115 cm, XL 115–130 cm. Size up if between sizes and tighten the adjustable closure as you heal.
How to wear it
With your doctor’s okay, start with short periods and build to 6–8 hours a day. Position it to support — not compress — the incision.
Related support: diastasis recti · back & posture.
